Las Vegas, NV — The Clark County and Las Vegas Fire Departments had been referred to as to a fire Saturday afternoon.
It occurred about 4:15 p.m. at West Valley Mobile Home Park on West Tropicana Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, they discovered a double-wide mobile home with smoke coming from the side and rear of the structure.
A neighbor trying to help obtaining everybody out of the home, exited by means of the window at the front of the structure, injuring himself severely. He was transported to UMC Trauma.
The fire was knocked down inside five minutes, but even though checking for extension, fire was found in the attic.
The owner stated the fire started on the patio, and due to high winds the fire extended into the structure and then into the attic.
Two folks were injured and transported to the hospital, a single with severe injuries and the other with minor injuries.
The American Red Cross was known as in to help the household displaced.
Damage was estimated at $ ten,000 whilst the lead to is still becoming investigated.
