Las Vegas man dies from injuries sustained in motorcycle crash
Las Vegas, NV — A Las Vegas man has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash.
It happened on March 27 at approximately 7:50 a.m. at the intersection of Windmill Parkway and Paradise Road.
Evidence at the scene indicated a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound in the middle travel lane of Windmill, approaching the cross street of Paradise.
A Chevrolet Camaro was leaving the side street of Paradise, traveling northbound from a posted stop sign, making a left turn in an attempt to go westbound on Windmill.
The Chevrolet entered into the travel path of the Harley, causing the rider, 64-year-old Gary Stahl, to take evasive action in an attempt to avoid the Chevrolet.
The front of the Harley made contact with the front of the Chevrolet causing Stahl to be ejected. He was transported to Sunrise Trauma with critical injuries.
Stahl succumbed to his injuries later that day around 9:30 p.m.
Neither the drivers were suspected of driving impaired.
