Las Vegas doctor accused of supplying drugs at his parties
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say a Las Vegas doctor supplied drugs to partygoers and undercover cops at his elaborate themed parties on the Strip and in his suburban home.
Andrew Scott Martin, 47, pleaded not guilty on March to 10 felony charges.
He’s accused of giving away, trafficking and possession of drugs.
Police say an informant connected undercover cops to Martin’s parties starting in 2013.
The orthopedic surgeon got his Nevada license in 2005. His license is now active but on probation for two years.
The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners suspended his medical license days after his home was searched on a warrant in September.
Marijuana, steroids, psychedelic mushrooms, cocaine and ecstasy were reportedly discovered at his Henderson home during the raid.
Martin’s attorney declined to comment on the case.
