(KTNV) — Gov. Brian Sandoval is scheduled to deliver his annual state of the state address on Jan. 15 before a joint session of the Nevada Legislature in Carson City.
The speech will be broadcast live on Action News Channel 13 at six p.m. It will also be obtainable on Channel 13’s reside stream.
Sandoval is anticipated to present a program that will boost education funding and revamp Nevada’s revenue structure. The governor has mentioned that his largest priority in his second term is turning about 1 of the nation’s worst-performing education systems.
He is also expected to speak about past and upcoming elements of the state’s economic improvement plans, according to the Reno Gazette Journal.
This will be Sandoval’s third state of the state speech. He was re-elected in a landslide victory in November’s election. He was officially sworn into workplace again on Jan. 5.
Nevada’s state legislature will start its 120-day normal session on Feb. 2. The legislature meets in a normal session every other year.
