Bullhead City teacher arrested for illegal conduct with several students
Bullhead City, Ariz. — A high school teacher in Bullhead City, Arizona, has been arrested for allegedly engaging in illegal conduct with several students.
According to the Bullhead City Police, a female student told school officials on March 5 that she had received sexually explicit text messages and nude photos from 33-year-old Joseph James Pagel.
The student also said that Pagel was supplying narcotic pills to students and smoking marijuana with them after school hours.

Detectives conducted numerous interviews with several students and learned that since the fall of 2014, Pagel has reportedly been texting a female student. Those texts included requests to perform oral sex. He also allegedly sent two nude photos to the student. The student reportedly sent him a partially-nude photograph.
Detectives also learned that Pagel invited students to his home on several occasions to smoke pot and that he provided narcotics, believed to be Percosets, to some students after they complained of headaches or pain from sports-related injury.
Pagel was arrested March 13. He is facing charges of attempted sexual conduct with a minor, furnishing harmful items to minors, electronic furnishing of harmful items to minors, luring a minor and transfer of marijuana.
