Three people were injured Friday morning, one critically, after a dog attack at a residence off of Linda and Black streets.

One of the injured victims was flown to University Medical Center Trauma Center and the other two were transported locally, according to Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Services Chief Scott Lewis.

Three to four dogs were believed to be involved in the attack, and neighbors may have fired shots at the dogs to ward off the attack, according to Lewis.

The Nye County Sheriff’s Office and Animal Control were able to capture and secure the dogs involved in the attack.

This is a developing story.
