3 autos collide with burro on Blue Diamond

Las Vegas, NV — The Nevada Highway Patrol was known as out to a crash on Blue Diamond Tuesday evening.

It occurred just after 5:30 p.m. on Blue Diamond, just north north 159.

NHP said 3 automobiles collided with a wild animal.

A Mitsubishi passenger car heading westbound on Blue Diamond struck the burro initially. A white Dodge pickup with an open-best trailer, heading eastbound, then also struck the burro. Then, a green Hyundai heading westbound struck the burro and collided with the trailer on the truck.

The 69-year-old female driver of the Hyundai was trapped and had to be extricated. She was transported by helicopter to UMC in significant condition.

Neither the driver of the pickup, nor the driver and juvenile passenger of the Mitsubishi had been injured.

Each directions of Blue Diamond have been shutdown even though crews investigated.
